JFDR is the latest project from Iceland's Jófríður Ákadóttir of Samaris, Pascal Pinon and Gangly.

l'Islandaise

–––––––––––––––––––––JFDR, le dernier projet de l’Islandaise Jófríður Ákadóttir (Samaris, Pascal Pinon, Gangly), mélange des paysages sonores minimaux et poétiques illustrés par des nappes de guitares et d’électroniques.

Puisant dans les fonds classiques, folkloriques et électroniques, JFDR amalgame les sons des saisons changeantes, où sa voix tel un courant, navigue entre les mers agitées jusqu’aux eaux douces.

Elle brille aussi par son talent d’orfèvre en traduisant les émotions subtiles de chacune de ses chansons au travers de mots d’une justesse remarquable et d’une imagerie riche.

Son premier album, co-produit par le légendaire multi-instrumentiste Shahzad Ismaily, est sorti en mars 2017.

Butter
Preheat the oven to 200° (fan oven 180°). Grease the springform pan.

Coarsely chop the couverture and melt it with the butter at low heat in a saucepan. Stir in the orange juice.

Couverture mixture
Egg Mixture
Slit the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Mix well with the chocolate mixture, add flour and salt to the egg mixture.
Powdered Sugar
Raspberry
Pour the dough into the tin and bake in the middle of the oven for about 25 minutes. Take out, let cool and dust with icing sugar. Don't be too stingy with raspberry.
